Imagine you had a popular life coach for a mentor – someone who’s always there to guide you through your quest for success and happiness in life. Any time you desired, this mentor would step in and help you sail through an impediment preventing you from achieving your goals.

Well, that’s precisely the kind of experience a new web-based service is aiming to provide to the masses at an affordable cost. Dubbed LiveCoach, the new service was launched earlier today, on September 19, 2017.

LiveCoach prides itself as a one-of-a-kind platform that provides subscription-based services to those looking for a personal coach to help them realize their full potential in career, entrepreneurship, relationship, health & fitness, and other disciplines of life.

How LiveCoach works

The curated platform is powered by a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) technology that analyzes a massive amount of Big Data to match experienced life coaches with users seeking personal or professional guidance.

LiveCoach enables users to make the absolute most out of unlimited coaching from multiple coaches. The process is simple and only requires the user to specify the area they are seeking help in along with some information about their situation. LiveCoach’s AI system then makes use of that data to find the top five coaches on the platform for the user.

The user can get in touch with any of those five coaches for counseling. Alternatively, they can also browse through other coaches specializing in the subject they’re seeking help in.

Users can reach out to their personal coaches anytime they want via text messages. There’s no limit to the number of messages they can send. Audio/video coaching is also available, but this feature has a 30-min time-limit, unlike the message-based one-on-one coaching module.

Not just that, users are also allowed to communicate with as many coaches as they want for free until they find the one that they want to work with.

Every life coach on the site has their personal profile providing a general idea about their background, their area of specialization, experience, and other key details that a client might want to know.

A new trend on the rise

Personal coaching is one of the fastest growing industries in the world today. So much so that this year it is expected to hit a net worth of $13 billion in the United States alone. However, the industry is still heavily fragmented and yet to have a broader appeal to a large section of the masses. Part of the blame goes to the over-the-top cost a life coach generally charges for providing personalized services.

“Whether you are looking for guidance on how to lose weight, reach career goals or handle a rocky relationship, life coaching is a proven form of counseling and one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. The industry as a whole though hasn’t seen much change in the last few decades, with people still having to do their own research to find a coach, pay hundreds of dollars for each in-person session and being limited to connecting with one coach at a time,” Shimon Lazarov, CEO of LiveCoach, said in a statement during the launch of the platform.

LiveCoach, claims that its unique business model allows the platform to be extremely cost-effective for end users while simultaneously enabling professional coaches to reach more clients across the globe.

“With LiveCoach, we are giving life coaching the makeover it needs, bringing hundreds of reputable coaches to one platform and using internal data and research to offer each user recommendations, based on their individual needs.”

Based in San Francisco, LiveCoach was founded in April 2017 by Shimon Lazarov and Rob Alderman. At launch, the platform boasts more than 1000 coaches providing counseling to thousands of members on a diverse range of subjects.
